Expression of Interest - Allied Health Leadership Development Program 2024-25


The opportunity to take part in the Allied Health Leadership Development Program 2025 is restricted to only those allied health professionals who employed under the Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement  

To be eligible for the Program allied health professionals must be:  

  • Employed by a public health service and/or publicly funded community health service    and/or publicly funded community health service;  and  

  • At Grade 2, Grade 3 or Grade 4 level;  and  

  • Included on the list of allied health professions recognised by the Department of Health;  

  • Listed in the Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026; and  

  • To ascertain whether your profession is included this Enterprise Agreement, see Section A – Definitions on pages 238 and 239; specifically, Clauses 102.9(a)-(v) which contain AHP1 Classifications, and Clauses 102.10(a)-(m) which contain AHP2 Classifications.  

  • Able to undertake the MPH5266 Clinical Leadership and Management (12-week course) and/or Evaluating Public Health Programs  ( 3-day short course)    

Funding that supports this Program  is a direct outcome of the Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement .

Please note: Expressions of Interest will be accepted from allied health professionals working on short term contracts provided the contract and/or their employment covers the duration of the units (until 25 October 2025). If your short-term contract expires before 25 October 2025,  you are not eligible to apply.
